Like they haven’t already made it pretty easy to stalk someone via Facebook, the social media giant has just unveiled plans for a new app that will track you and broadcast your location even when you’re offine and the app is closed.
What’s it going to take for the lemmings to stop following the leader to the cliff’s edge?

I know Facebook is less than innocent (even likable) when it comes to privacy, but I will say that if people want to use the service they just need to be responsible. If they don’t want to be tracked, don’t connect your phone to your profile or tell everybody where they’ve been, will be, or have eaten. But the latter seems to be a bit difficult for some.
I will admit that sometimes is kind of difficult to keep up with it. I’m not too upset, I don’t own a smartphone (probably will never own one) I’m afraid of Cylons
Dammit. Now I’m going to have to put a Cylon face as my wallpaper and “BY YOUR COMMAND” as my ringtone.
